This vintage plate from Syracuse China showcases the beloved “Strawberry Hill” pattern — a classic example of mid-century American tableware design. The red transferware motif features stylized florals and ferns, presented in a formal oval arrangement with a ridged border.

Founded in 1871, Syracuse China was known for producing durable, restaurant-grade porcelain favored in the hospitality industry. Its graceful patterns, like this one, were also popular for home use. The “Strawberry Hill” design exemplifies the romantic botanical trend of the postwar period.
