Description

Federal Glass Diamond Dishes — cheerful and collectible Depression glass produced during the 1930s. These small serving dishes feature sharp geometric patterning in a sunburst diamond motif and exhibit a warm amber tone, common in glassware of the era. The Federal Glass Company mass-produced such pieces as low-cost decorative serveware during the Great Depression.

They were often distributed as promotional items — packed in cereal boxes or given away at movie theaters. Despite their modest beginnings, pieces like these now carry historic and aesthetic value as emblems of resilience and design economy
